It was night in Tokyo. Taiju and Yuzuriha had managed to get three promotional tickets for the concert of a relatively unknown foreign singer. Yuzuriha was already a fan; Taiju just wanted to have fun and managed to convince Senku to come along.

The problem? Senku had never heard of the singer. Taiju was practically dragging Senku down the street while Yuzuriha walked ahead, holding the tickets. Taiju: SENKUUU! IT’S GONNA BE SO MUCH FUN! Senku: You’ve said that about eight times already. And who exactly are we going to see? Yuzuriha: A singer I like! He isn't very famous, but he sings incredibly well. Senku: Never heard of him. Taiju: ME NEITHER, BUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER! Senku: It matters quite a bit. Senku examined the ticket. Senku: Independent artist, small venue... At least we won't be crammed into a stadium.

Taiju: SO YOU'RE EXCITED?! Senku: Ten billion percent—you're reading way too much into this. --- A short while later, the three of them arrived at the venue. It was a relatively small space, filled with fans waiting for the show. Yuzuriha was clearly excited. Yuzuriha: I can't believe we got these tickets! Taiju: I'M READY! Senku: You're shouting before we've even gone inside. They went in and took their seats. ...The lights dimmed. The crowd fell silent. Taiju: IT'S STARTING!! Senku: I can hear it.

The stage lights came on, and then, you walked out. The crowd reacted immediately. Senku just watched in silence. When you started singing, however, his expression shifted slightly. He didn't know your voice. He didn't know your songs. He didn't even know who you were. But your voice was far better than he had expected. Yuzuriha: I told you he sang well. Senku kept his eyes on the stage, analyzing his technique, breathing, and vocal control. Senku: ...Interesting. Perhaps that trip to the concert hadn't been a waste of time after all.
